Mr. Whelan is responsible for client service and portfolio management.

Mr. Whelan has more than 25 years of investment experience. Mr. Whelan is a member of the Tri-County Economic Development Foundation of Northern Kentucky, a member of the Business Support Committee of the St. Elizabeth Foundation, a Samaritan Society member, and was selected as a member of Leadership Cincinnati 2019 and the Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 2015.

Mr. Whelan is a past President of the CFA Society of Cincinnati and is the Former Chair of the Xavier University Finance Board of Executive Advisors. Additionally, Mr. Whelan has been named an Executive Professor of Finance at Xavier University.

Mr. Whelan is a CFA Charterholder, member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Cincinnati. He graduated with a finance degree and earned his MBA in Corporate Finance and Investments from the University of Kentucky.

Nathan A. Bishop, CFA

Mr. Bishop is responsible for lead oversight of the firm’s investment portfolios and client service. Mr. Bishop has more than 20 years of investment experience.

Prior to joining Opus, Mr. Bishop held the positions of Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager at Haberer Registered Investment Advisor, Inc. Previously, Mr. Bishop worked for U.S. Bank’s Private Client Group and Pro Sports Division, also as a Senior Portfolio Manager.

Mr. Bishop is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Cincinnati. He earned his BBA in Finance and his MBA from Morehead State University. Mr. Bishop is a past President of the CFA society of Cincinnati and currently serves as finance chair for the Morehead State University Foundation. Additionally, Mr. Bishop serves on the investment committee for Lighthouse Youth and Family Services and serves as an Advisory Board Member for FEG Private Opportunities Funds IV and V.

Mr. Bailey is responsible for leading the financial planning team, client servicing, and supporting in investment research.

Mr. Bailey is a CFA Charterholder and currently serves on the board of, the CFA Society of Cincinnati. He is also a CFP® professional and serves on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Southwestern Ohio.

Mr. Bailey is a graduate of Xavier University and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance. He stays actively involved with Xavier and previously served as a member of the Xavier University Williams College of Business Young Alumni Board.

Mr. Condren implements the strategic initiatives of the firm and directs the firm’s day-to-day activities, including compliance, operations, and business management. With more than 20 years of investment experience, Mr. Condren is responsible for Opus’ regulatory compliance, including the firm’s compliance policies and procedures and Code of Ethics.

Mr. Condren is a member of the CFA Society of Cincinnati. Mr. Condren earned his BS in Finance from DePaul University and his MBA in Finance from Xavier University.

Henry Nebesky

Mr. Nebesky joined the Opus team as an Investment Analyst in January 2024. He is responsible for providing support to Opus’ portfolio managers via research, portfolio construction and management for both client accounts and internal modeling. He graduated from Xavier University Williams College of Business with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Finance. While earning his degree, Mr. Nebesky worked as an intern in retail banking, led economic research and reporting for Xavier’s student run investment fund, and co-founded a university club golf team.

Mr. Shamsi joined the Opus team as a Wealth Associate in June 2022. He is responsible for procedural operations and client service. He graduated from Miami University Farmer School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance. While earning his degree, Mr. Shamsi worked as a wealth management intern and financial analyst intern in the Cincinnati area. As a native of Cincinnati, he also spends time volunteering as a grade school football coach.

As Founder and Chairman of the Board, Ms. Haussler provides executive oversight and insight for the corporate strategy of the firm. Prior to co-founding Opus in 1996, she held positions as managing director of Capvest Ventures, partner at Adena Ventures Fund, managing director of an investment banking firm, partner of Blue Chip Venture Company and a position in the mergers and acquisitions/financial analysis division of Cincinnati Bell Inc.

Ms. Haussler serves on the Board of Directors/Trustees of the Morgan Stanley Funds, the Board of Directors of Cincinnati Bell Inc. (Chair, Governance Committee; Audit and Finance Committee; formerly, Compensation Committee); the Board of Directors of Service Corporation International (Audit and Investment Committee); the Board of Trustees of Northern Kentucky University Foundation (Investment Committee), the Board of Advisors of the Chase College of Law Transactional Law Practice Center and is a member of the Cincinnati Women’s Executive Forum. Additionally, from 2005 through August, 2008, Ms. Haussler served on the Board of the Victory Funds (Key Bank’s mutual fund complex) and its Investment Committee; during 2008, Ms. Haussler was Chairman of the Victory Funds Investment Committee.

Mr. Haussler is the Advisory Board Chairman. With more than 36 years of experience, Mr. Haussler was the Assistant Treasurer and Director of Investments at Cincinnati Bell Inc., before co-founding Opus in 1996. While at Cincinnati Bell, he developed the investment policy for the Employees Benefit Funds and directed investments for more than $1 billion in assets.

Prior to Cincinnati Bell, Mr. Haussler worked as the Manager of Planning and Analysis for the Mead Corporation, taught at the University of Cincinnati and performed various accounting, audit and tax duties for Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Haussler is a member of the CFA Society of Cincinnati and holds the professional licenses of Certified Cash Manager (CCM) and is also an inactive CPA. He earned his BBA in Accounting and his MBA in Finance from the University of Cincinnati.
